Store Credit Back Offer Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
These Store Credit Back Offer Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the store credit back offer described below (the “Store Credit Back Offer”) provided by True Classic (“True Classic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in and using the Store Credit Back Offer, you agree to these Terms, which are in addition to our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The Store Credit Back Offer currently provides eligible customers with an opportunity to earn promotional credit (“Store Credit Back”) on a qualifying purchase in the form of True Classic store credit only. Store Credit Back is not provided as cash or as any prepaid debit card.
True Classic reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the Store Credit Back Offer and/or these Terms at any time, as described in Section 11 (Program Changes and Updates to These Terms).
1.1 Relationship to Product Purchases
The Store Credit Back Offer does not change the terms applicable to your underlying product purchase, including pricing, shipping, fulfillment, returns, or exchanges. Those matters are governed by True Classic’s standard Terms of Use, Return Policy, and any applicable offer-specific terms.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:

“Store Credit Back” means a promotional store credit issued by True Classic that you can apply toward a future eligible purchase on trueclassic.com (or any other True Classic channel we specify).

“Store Credit Back Offer” means the welcome Store Credit Back offer described in these Terms.

“Enrollment Invitation” means an invitation (such as a website pop-up or email) that specifically mentions the Store Credit Back Offer and prompts you to opt in to receive marketing communications from True Classic.

“Insider Membership” means any paid membership or loyalty program offered by True Classic that provides ongoing benefits (which may include Store Credit Back or other rewards) and is governed by separate Insider membership terms and conditions.

“Insider Cashback” means any cashback or store-credit reward provided under the Insider Membership, governed by the Insider membership terms.

“Qualifying Purchase” means your first eligible merchandise purchase that meets all conditions set out in these Terms, including the 30-day enrollment window, non-use of promo codes, and non-promotional status of products.

“Promotional Period” means any period in which True Classic is running a promotion, sale, or discounted pricing (for example, sitewide or category-specific promotions), as determined by True Classic in its discretion.

“Promotional Products” means products that are on sale or otherwise discounted (including through automatic discounts or promotions) at the time of purchase.
3. Eligibility and Enrollment
3.1 Age and Legal Capacity
By participating in the Store Credit Back Offer, you represent and warrant that you (a) are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, (b) are capable of entering into a binding contract with True Classic, and (c) are not otherwise barred from participating under applicable law.
3.2 Email Opt-In and Enrollment Invitation
The Store Credit Back Offer is valid only for customers who:
- Receive an Enrollment Invitation that specifically mentions the Store Credit Back Offer; and
- Opt in to receive emails from True Classic (and, where applicable, SMS) with deals, offers, and other information in response to that Enrollment Invitation.
By opting in, you enroll in the Store Credit Back Offer and agree that we may send you marketing communications and program-related emails as described in our Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, you may participate in the Store Credit Back Offer without consenting to certain marketing communications, and your consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting Store Credit Back already earned.
3.3 New Customer Requirement and First Purchase Only
The Store Credit Back Offer is intended as a welcome offer for new customers.
- To be eligible, you must not have previously made any purchase from True Classic (as determined by True Classic in its discretion using indicators such as email address, device, payment method, and shipping address).
- The Store Credit Back Offer is not applicable to prior purchases.
- The Store Credit Back Offer applies only to your first Qualifying Purchase after enrollment, subject to the rules in these Terms.
Limit one Store Credit Back Offer per customer and per household, as determined by True Classic.
3.4 30-Day Enrollment Window to Make a Qualifying Purchase
After you enroll in the Store Credit Back Offer by opting in as described above, you will have 30 days from the date of enrollment to place your first Qualifying Purchase in order to earn Store Credit Back.
- If your first purchase occurs more than 30 days after your enrollment date, that purchase will not qualify for Store Credit Back under the Store Credit Back Offer, even if all other conditions are met.
3.5 Insider Membership and No Double Benefits
You can earn either welcome Store Credit Back or Insider Cashback on your first order—but not both. In certain countries or regions, True Classic offers an Insider Membership program that includes its own credit benefits governed by separate Insider membership terms and conditions.
If, at the time of your first purchase after enrollment:
- You are already an active Insider Member, or
- You purchase an Insider Membership as part of your first order,
then you will not earn welcome Store Credit Back under this Store Credit Back Offer on that order. Instead:
- Any Store Credit Back or credit you earn on that order will be treated as Insider Cashback and governed exclusively by the Insider membership terms and conditions applicable in your country/region.
- You cannot earn both welcome offer Store Credit Back and Insider Cashback on the same order.
Insider Cashback is governed by the Insider Membership Terms available at https://www.trueclassictees.com/pages/true-classic-membership.
3.6 Geographic Availability
The Store Credit Back Offer and its interaction with Insider Membership (including the “no double benefits” rule in Section 3.5) apply only in countries or regions where the relevant program is available.
- In countries where Insider Membership is available, the rules in Section 3.5 govern whether welcome Store Credit Back or Insider Cashback applies to your first order.
- In countries where Insider Membership is not available, only the welcome Store Credit Back Offer may be available, subject to these Terms.
- True Classic may, in its discretion, restrict or exclude the Store Credit Back Offer in specific countries or regions for legal, operational, or commercial reasons.
4. Earning Store Credit Back
4.1 Store Credit Back Rate
Unless otherwise stated for a specific offer, the standard Store Credit Back rate under this welcome Store Credit Back Offer is currently 20% of the eligible merchandise amount of your Qualifying Purchase.
True Classic may from time to time offer different rates to different customers or at different times.
4.2 Conditions for a Qualifying Purchase
To earn Store Credit Back under the Store Credit Back Offer:
- You must have validly enrolled under Section 3.2;
- You must be a new customer under Section 3.3;
- Your purchase must occur within 30 days of your enrollment date;
- You must be logged in or otherwise identified with the same email address you used to enroll;
- Your order must meet the restrictions in Sections 4.3 and 4.4 (including “no promo” and non-promotional items); and
- In countries where Insider Membership is available, you must not be earning Store Credit Back under Insider Membership on that same order (see Section 3.5).
4.3 No Earning on Promo-Code or Promotional Orders
Earning is available only on merchandise purchases that are not subject to any other discount, promo code, automatic discount, sale, or promotional pricing.
- If you apply a promo code at checkout, you will not earn Store Credit Back on that order.
- If your order is placed during a Promotional Period, or your order contains Promotional Products (including any items receiving a sale price or automatic discount), you will not earn Store Credit Back on that order.
If you have a promo code, you must choose either:
- To use the promo code, in which case you will not earn Store Credit Back, or
- To forgo using the promo code in order to earn Store Credit Back under this Store Credit Back Offer (assuming all other conditions are satisfied).
Where technically supported, the Store Credit Back earning option at checkout will automatically deactivate if you enter a promo code or if your cart contains ineligible promotional items.
4.4 Eligible Merchandise Amount and Exclusions
Store Credit Back is earned only on the eligible merchandise subtotal of your Qualifying Purchase, calculated:
- After any applicable product- or collection-level discounts allowed under these Terms; and
- Before sales tax, shipping, duties, and other fees.
You do not earn Store Credit Back on:
- Gift cards;
- Shipping protection or similar ancillary services;
- Shipping fees;
- Duties, taxes, or other governmental charges;
- Any portion of a purchase paid with store credit, Store Credit Back, or gift cards; or
- Any products or orders that we designate as ineligible for Store Credit Back (including certain collaborations, clearance items, or third-party products), which may be identified on product pages or at checkout.
4.5 Non-U.S. Purchases and Currency Fluctuations
True Classic’s store operates in U.S. dollars (USD). If you make a Qualifying Purchase in a currency other than USD:
- Store Credit Back will generally be calculated from the underlying USD value of your purchase;
- The Store Credit Back amount you see in your local currency may differ slightly due to foreign exchange rates, conversions, and rounding; and
- As a result, the effective Store Credit Back amount in your local currency may vary modestly from the percentage rate applied in USD.
Store Credit Back percentages are calculated before VAT, GST, or similar consumption taxes unless otherwise required by law. In some jurisdictions, additional disclosures or different treatment of promotional credits may apply.
5. Issuance, Holding Period, Redemption, and Expiry
5.1 28-Day Holding Period
Store Credit Back earned on a Qualifying Purchase will initially be in a pending status and cannot be used immediately.
- Pending Store Credit Back will generally become available 28 days after your order is shipped or marked as fulfilled (the “Holding Period”).
- True Classic may delay or cancel Store Credit Back if we reasonably suspect a return, cancellation, chargeback, or fraud related to the order.
5.2 Issuance as Store Credit Only
After the Holding Period, and subject to the return and fraud rules in these Terms:
- Your Store Credit Back will be issued as True Classic store credit associated with your account or via a unique redemption code.
- Store Credit Back is only available for store credit and is not available as cash, a prepaid debit card, or any other form of payment.
5.3 Expiry – 30 Days from Issuance
Once Store Credit Back becomes available (i.e., after the 28-day Holding Period), it will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance (the “Activation Date”), unless we specify otherwise.
- You must redeem your Store Credit Back within that 30-day period.
- This includes welcome offer Store Credit Back, which will be valid for 30 days from the date it becomes available.
Effect of Expiry
Once Store Credit Back expires, it is permanently forfeited and cannot be reinstated, refunded, or converted to cash or any other form of credit.
5.4 How to Redeem at Checkout
Once available:
- Store Credit Back will be redeemable at checkout on trueclassic.com (or another True Classic platform we specify), typically as an automatically applied credit or discount-type mechanism.
- You will generally see the Store Credit Back option at checkout when you are logged in with the same account that earned the Store Credit Back.
- Detailed instructions may be provided in the email you receive when your Store Credit Back becomes available.
5.5 Promotional Nature; No Property Right
Store Credit Back is issued by True Classic for loyalty, award, and promotional purposes only and is intended for personal, family, or household use. You acknowledge that Store Credit Back and any associated balance are promotional in nature and do not create any property right or ownership interest in your favor. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all Store Credit Back and Store Credit Back balances are promotional in nature and do not constitute money, stored value, or a property right until redeemed in accordance with these Terms. True Classic may cancel, revoke, or restrict your access to Store Credit Back or adjust your Store Credit Back balance at any time to correct errors or prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse.
5.6 Limitations on Use
Store Credit Back may only be used by the account holder to whom it was issued and only on eligible purchases from True Classic. Store Credit Back may not be: (a) transferred, gifted, assigned, shared, or combined with Store Credit Back issued to any other customer or account; (b) sold, brokered, bartered, or otherwise exchanged for value; or (c) used for resale or other commercial purposes. No interest is paid on any Store Credit Back balance.
5.7 International Redemption of Store Credit Back
For customers whose shipping address is outside of the United States, Store Credit Back applied at checkout will be redeemed up to the maximum amount that can be applied against your order total:
- If your Store Credit Back balance is less than or equal to the eligible merchandise total in your cart, your Store Credit Back may be applied in full.
- If your Store Credit Back balance is greater than the eligible merchandise total in your cart, only the portion needed to cover that cart total will be applied, and any unused Store Credit Back will remain in your account and may be applied to future eligible purchases until it expires in accordance with these Terms.
In all cases, customers outside of the United States will not lose any remaining Store Credit Back balance solely because their cart value is smaller than their available Store Credit Back at the time of redemption, provided the remaining balance has not expired under Section 5.3.
6. Returns, Cancellations, Chargebacks, and Adjustments
6.1 Returns During the Holding Period
If you return all or part of an order while Store Credit Back is still pending:
- We will adjust the pending Store Credit Back based on the final net value of the items you keep; and
- If your entire order is returned or cancelled, you will not earn Store Credit Back for that order.
6.2 Returns After Store Credit Back Is Issued but Before Use
If you return all or part of an order after Store Credit Back has become available but before you use it:
- We may reduce or cancel your Store Credit Back to reflect the net value of eligible merchandise you kept; and
- If your entire order is refunded, we may cancel the Store Credit Back associated with that order in full.
6.3 Returns After Store Credit Back Has Been Used
If you use Store Credit Back earned from a prior purchase and later return that original purchase:
- We may reduce your refund for the original purchase by the amount of Store Credit Back that was previously issued and used, so that you do not receive both a full refund and the benefit of the already-used Store Credit Back, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6.4 Cancellations and Chargebacks
If an order is cancelled, not paid, or is subject to a chargeback:
- We may cancel or reverse any associated Store Credit Back, whether pending or active; and
- If Store Credit Back from such an order has already been used, we may adjust your account and/or reduce related refunds as permitted by law.
7. Email Communications and Delivery Issues
As part of the Store Credit Back Offer, True Classic may send emails and/or SMS messages to the address or number associated with your account, including:
- Confirmation of your enrollment and eligibility;
- Notices relating to earning Store Credit Back on a Qualifying Purchase; and
- Notifications when your Store Credit Back becomes available and reminders before expiry, where applicable.
True Classic is not responsible for emails or messages that are not received due to:
- Incorrect, invalid, or out-of-date contact information;
- Email filters, spam folders, or carrier issues; or
- System outages or failures of email, SMS, or other third-party services.
Please keep your contact information accurate and up to date.
8. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to:
- Withhold, cancel, or adjust Store Credit Back if we reasonably believe it was earned or used through fraud, misuse, error, or violation of these Terms; and
- Close, suspend, or restrict accounts that show patterns of abuse, including but not limited to:
- Multiple accounts created for the same individual or household;
- Excessive returns or chargebacks;
- Manipulation of promotions, order values, or Store Credit Back calculations.
9. Taxes
You are solely responsible for any taxes or governmental charges that may apply to Store Credit Back you earn or redeem, except where True Classic is required by law to collect and remit such amounts.
10. Privacy
True Classic collects, uses, and processes personal information in connection with the Store Credit Back Offer in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By enrolling in and participating in the Store Credit Back Offer, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy, including for administering the Store Credit Back Offer and sending you marketing communications to which you have opted in.
11. Program Changes and Updates to These Terms
True Classic may modify, suspend, or terminate the Store Credit Back Offer, in whole or in part, at any time, as permitted by law. Changes may include updates to the Store Credit Back rate, Holding Period, expiry period, eligibility rules, exclusions, geographic availability, and other program details.
11.1 Changes to These Terms
True Classic may update these Terms from time to time. We may provide notice of changes by posting the updated Terms on trueclassic.com and/or by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Unless otherwise stated, updated Terms will be effective when posted. Your continued participation in the Store Credit Back Offer after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If we terminate the Store Credit Back Offer, we may provide information on how long you will have to use any remaining valid Store Credit Back, if applicable.
12. Additional Terms and Dispute Resolution
Your participation in the Store Credit Back Offer is also subject to True Classic’s Terms of Use, which include additional provisions regarding limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
- In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Terms of Use, these Terms will govern solely with respect to the Store Credit Back Offer.
- Any dispute relating to the Store Credit Back Offer will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in True Classic’s Terms of Use.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and your participation in the Store Credit Back Offer will be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a different governing law is required by applicable local law.
